the Voyager

The Voyager is a 46 meter (150 ft) long by 10 meter (33 ft) wide twin engine steel motor vessel. Originally built to work in the North Seas of Europe the Voyager has been recommissioned as a luxury live aboard.

The Voyager is now available for any kind of charters, subject to availibility. She will continue to support our newest liveaboard vessel, the Cheng Ho if and when needed. For further information on how to charter the Voyager, please contact voyager@kararu.com

Based in Benoa Harbour of Bali the Voyager has been extensively refitted and customised to suit long range liveaboard scuba diving expeditions and underwater photography in Indonesia while offering total comfort and high standards of service.

virtual tour & deck plans

Take an interactive virtual tour of the Voyager courtesy of Bonnie Pelnar, photographer and designer of Underwater Colors. Covering three decks and twenty five individual panoramas this is a comprehensive virtual tour of the Voyager's decks, cabins, guest and dive facilities.

facilities & services

The Voyager is a fully equipped luxury floating hotel and scuba diving platform. This vessel offers individually air-conditioned cabins and staterooms, spacious saloons, e-mail access, a reading library and sundecks.

The cabins are cleaned twice a day with a turn down service at night, with a very high staff to guest ratio on board service is excellent. Languages spoken include German, French, Spanish, Italian, Indonesian and English.

vessel specifications

The Voyager is one of the few extended range live aboard dive vessels in Indonesia that is actually suited to the work. The steel hull and dual main engines are essential for any boat venturing to the remote seas of the Eastern archipelago.

Very importantly the liveaboard is also comprehensively refitted during an annual dry docking at the beginning of the year plus regular maintainance is carried out throughout the year to ensure that the vessel is always seaworthy.
