Komodo Island & Marine Park
The Komodo National Park, is a UNESCO world heritage site as well as one of the 7 wonders of nature, located in Indonesia’s Lesser Sunda Islands with a total area of 1733 km2. Komodo is one of the world’s most diverse and interesting marine wildlife parks. With it’s unique hot and dry climate, characterized by savannah vegetation, it is the perfect habitat for the world’s largest lizard, the up to 3 m long Komodo Dragon. For the marine lover, Komodo offers world class scuba diving or snorkeling in a staggering variety of sites with walls, coral gardens, pinnacles, drop offs as well as quiet bays and inlets for macro critters.
