komodo eleven nights

This Komodo island and National Marine Park eleven night cruise is available departing from the port of Benoa in Bali to Bima (on the island of Sumbawa), or in the opposite direction from Bima disembarking in Benoa.

Please note that these itineraries are subject to change depending on local weather and diving conditions and that all times are approximate.

Detailed daily itinerary for Bima to Benoa, for cruises departing from Benoa the same itinerary applies in reverse.

Day One: Bima

Immediately after the guests have embarked, the ship will leave Bima and steam towards the Komodo National Park. Today is enough time to get familiar with the boat and to set up the divegear for the next days diving.

Day Two: Gili Lawah Laut & Gili Lawah Darat

Welcome to the first day diving the in Komodo National Park. We begin on the North East corner of the park at Gili Lawah Laut. Famous for warm, clear waters, and full of schooling fish, napoleon wrasse, sharks and turtles. Stunning corals and reefs will excite you on your full days diving in this area.

Day Three: Komodo Island

Early in the morning, we will begin our breathtaking walk of Komodo Island to see the infamous dragons. Usually a few hours is spent on shore viewing the dragon and we are back in the water by noon. We will dive at the famous Pink Beach and other exciting dive sites such as Padar in the Komodo Island region as well.

Day Four: South Komodo & Rinca

Our morning begins in South Komodo at Tora Longkoi, home to a famous manta cleaning station. With a 99 percent success rate to witness the mantas, you will marvel at these graceful creatures as they circle around and around. During lunch, we steam to Horseshoe Bay, Rinca Island where we will spend the rest of the day diving in this area. You will be able to take full advantage of the uniqueness of this area. These dive sites are famous for their diversity in marine life that will be fully appreciated once under the water! All meals will be served on board and between dives guests can explore by foot or binoculars the nearby beach where wild boars, monkeys and the odd Komodo dragon reside.

Day Five: South Rinca

Welcome to another full day’s diving in Rinca’s Horseshoe Bay. CANNIBAL ROCK one of the Top five divestites in the world is locaded here as well as Larry’s YELLOW WALL Of TEXAS. On top of that we have one of the best muck sites TORPEDO ALLEY and four more stunning divesites to offer. We usually offer 5 dives during our stay in this protected bay. Don’t miss the night dive.!!

Day Six: Komodo National Park (South)

Usually we stay this day again in Rinca’s Horseshoe Bay. Again five dives will be offered including a night dive. As an alternative we sometimes move towards the north of Komodo into warmer water.

Day Seven: Komodo National Park

We will visit islands such as Tatawa, Gili Lawa Laut and Gili Lawah Darat. Between lunch and dinner, we will be able to offer as many dives as possible. Cruising through this spectacular area, both above water and below will prove an unforgettable experience. At midnight, we will lift anchor and steam towards Sangeang Island.

Day Eight: Sangeang & Banta

Arriving early morning at Sangeang Island, a stunning volcanic island offering some of the region’s best dive sites. We will spend the entire morning diving off this incredible island to ensure nothing will be missed. Lunch will be served on board while sailing towards the peaceful bays of Banta Island where you will be treated to an enormous array of fish life as well as stunning above water scenery. After dinner, we will sail towards our next incredible destination, Rinca.

Day Nine: North West Sumbawa

To begin your dive day, you will arrive early morning to the enchanting islands of Satonda. Breakfast will be served before spending a full day in this region. You will have ample opportunity to dive all the magnificent sites. Lunch will be served in between dives. Cruising to the east with the sun setting behind the ship you will pass the dormant volcanic island of Satonda where the twilight skies hold a rare surprise.

Day Ten: Moyo National Park

Arrive early morning to the shores of the stunning Moyo National Park. Breakfast will be served before diving and you may just witness one of the whale sharks spotted in the area. Lunch will be on board before making the last dives of our incredible journey. A special dinner will be served on board before lifting anchor to sail back to South East Bali for disembarkation. The crew will wash and organize your dive gear for drying.

Day Eleven: Tulamben

Famed for it’s Liberty ship wreck, you will enjoy the incredible view of Bali’s Mt. Agung as well as an exceptional array of very tame marine life.Kararu also takes you to the latest hot spots, such as Seraya Secrets.

Day Twelve: South East Bali

The ship will arrive at 6:00 AM in Benoa Harbor, South East Bali. You will be served breakfast and afterwards prepare for disembarkation. At 9:00 AM, you will be transferred to your next destination.
